Wedgwood bone china rimmed soup / salad bowl

The bowl shown is a Wedgwood bone china rimmed bowl, specifically a soup or salad bowl made in England. Based on the visual characteristics and markings described, it appears to compliment Wedgwood’s classic patterns featuring a colored rim on fine bone china.

Purchased in England in the late 1950s with pieces that are definitely “Barlaston”, this piece may be of the “Moonlight”, “Greenwood” or “Celedon” pattern. Extensive searches can not find an exact match in the United States.

Stamped on the bottom with the vintage Wedgwood bone china backstamp from England, featuring the brand’s traditional Portland Vase logo. There is a capital E at the top and 4 at the lower area.
