Inside the slipcase is an extraordinary 37-foot-long single-sheet accordion-style book featuring fastidiously detailed pen-and-ink drawings. One side captures the north bank of the River Thames, while the other side illustrates the south bank, mapping a continuous 20-mile journey from Hammersmith Bridge to the Millennium Dome. The set also includes an accompanying booklet with essays by noted authors Iain Sinclair and Will Self, alongside an illustrative visual key indexing hundreds of famous riverside buildings and landmarks.
