Vintage Signed Japanese Studio Stoneware Bud Vase / Tokkuri, 5.5″

This beautifully crafted studio stoneware vase stands approximately 5.5 inches tall and features a classic Japanese tokkuri-inspired form with elegant proportions.

The vase is finished with layered glazes including a rich tenmoku brown neck that transitions through warm olive tones into a soft blue speckled glaze with natural iron spotting. The piece is wheel thrown and displays excellent craftsmanship, with a carefully finished foot and fully glazed interior.

The base bears a signature believed to be that of the studio potter. While the signature has not been identified, the style is consistent with Japanese studio pottery from the late twentieth century.
